The Broker — The Short Version
TabTrade launched in Q1 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail matters. It says the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. It is more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities institutional desks use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
The instrument list: forex, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For a broker this new, that coverage is not narrow.
What You Trade On
Available: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from one account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you know a MetaQuotes platform before, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That should be a good addition when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Suits beginners.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. TabTrade does not.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not for typical accounts. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
Execution Speed
This is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform quote a much wider range.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That is something about priorities.
Put together that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
This is the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. It should inform how you think about it.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you deposit.
